Symposium “Moments of movement” will take place in Copernicus Science Centre. This innovative building was constructed 8 years ago on the riverside just a few steps from the old town. The purpose of Copernicus Science Centre is to make scientific knowledge accessible to everyone.
This is one of the most interesting buildings in Warsaw. Nevertheless was made of glass, concrete and steel, it is a warm and friendly place.
Our meeting will take place in a convenient and modern conference area. Lectures wild be held in a spacious auditorium and encounter groups in smaller meeting rooms at the first floor. Lunch will be served at the extraordinary restaurant with a panoramic view over the green and natural side of the river.
The perfect location of the venue will let you spend your free time interestingly as a lot of touristic attraction are situated just around the corner. At the doorstep, there is a beautiful Vistula boulevard packed with bars, restaurants and clubs crowdly attended by locals and visitors.
In a walking distance you will find the iconic building of the Warsaw University Library with the famous rooftop gardens, where you can admire views over the city. The UNESCO listed Old Town, perfectly reconstructed after the Second World War is just 10 minutes away. Beautiful narrow streets of this area hide many important monuments that Poles are proud of to include the recently renovated king’s castle and St. John’s cathedral.
Thanks to the near underground station, CNK is perfectly connected to the rest of the city.
